Bendigo Bushfire Commemoration
Community members are invited to a morning tea event to commemorate the second anniversary of the devastating Black Saturday bushfires. Presentations will be given from the fire-affected community, visiting government dignitaries and community leaders. The event will also include a brass bell performance by local children, arts activities and local singer/song writer Olive Bice. Due to parking constraints on site, a shuttle bus will run from the Bendigo Stadium (formerly known as the Schweppes Centre) car park from 9am to 1pm.
