Kasey Chambers - Story Book
Storybook is an album which sums up Kasey Chambers musical heroes.
It’s a collection of songs from the artists that have inspired and influenced her musical journey.
For example Kasey saw Lucinda Williams play when she was 16 and it was through the song ‘Happy Woman Blues’ that Kasey realised it was OK to sing about honest and personal things.
All the songs are recorded in Kasey Chambers’ country, laidback style, which is enjoyed by many.
The songs range from Cyndi Lauper’s ‘True Colours’ to Steve Earle’s ‘Nothing But A Child’.
The album coincides with Kasey’s book A Little Bird Told Me.
