Ministry Of Sound: Annual 2012
The much awaited Ministry Annual 2012 album is finally here and boy have they created an epic to celebrate the arrival of the New Year! Clubbers are in for a huge treat as the intensity of this album delivers a rocket blast of oomph. DJ Geniuses, Tommy Trash and Tom Piper have mixed this year’s annual; bringing their own “flavour de force” to the 2 CD compilation.
The album has crammed “the old,” “the now” and “the soon to be” dance floor hits to create a marathon of dance music! Expect great things from the remixed songs of DJ artists Duck Sauce, Calvin Harris, Example, LMFAO, Laidback Luke and Tonite Only.
To be very picky, I would have to say there is one small fault with the 2012 Annual that being the inclusion of a lot of really commercial dance tracks but all is forgiven as the album as a whole hits the right floor-stomping beats.
Ministry of Sound have recovered following the release of their disappointing last Annual and they have reaffirmed that they are an indomitable power in the dance music industry.
Highlights include the epic remix by Thomas Gold of Adele’s, ‘Set Fire to the Rain’; impressive debut by Raized by Wolves, ‘The Call;’ the classic track by Duck Sauce, ‘Big Bad Wolf;’ Tonite Only’s new anthem, ‘Haters Gonna Hate;’ ‘Le Bump’ by Yolanda be Cool and dynamic duo Martin Solvieg & Draggonette’s, ‘Big in Japan’. An explosive album for an anticipated explosive year!
