Other Lives have unearthed a second album titled ‘Tamer Animals’ which takes you on an atmospheric, cosmic rock journey. Each song on the album seems connected in a refreshing way; each song telling the next chapter of the story.
It is hard to pin point a favourite song, it is an album that can only be fully appreciated by listening to all the tracks. One small criticism is the lack of uniqueness between songs but in a way the common thread is what makes the album special; its art house and it works!
Other Lives could be likened to an ensemble rather than a band with no less than thirteen instruments featuring on the album, entwined harmoniously to create the intergalactic sound. Treat yourself to a new music experience, they just might become you new favourite band.
