Triple J’s unearthed winners of 2011, Snakadaktal gained popularity like wild fire since winning the competition.
Their self-titled debut EP has been highly successful with songs maintaining good radio circulation. Songs like Air and Chimera have been favorites with the Australian public.
The EP is really terrific debut album; Snakadaktal have really utilized the ‘Dream Pop’ genre, making the whole EP flow nicely, track to track.
It is great to see such young Australian talent doing so well. It will be interesting to follow this band’s progress in a cut-throat industry and see if they can take their music to the next level with a second album?
I think they have what it takes. Best songs on the EP are the Hypnotic Air and Boy.
