HEYWIRE is a chance for young people from Rural and Regional Australia to tell their story.
They do this by letting young people from rural and regional Australia take over the ABC and broadcast their stories on ABC Radio: Local Radio, Triple J, Radio National, Radio Australia and ABC Online and by giving young people the opportunity to participate in our yearly forum in Canberra: a chance for the Heywire winners from around Australia to come together and discuss the issues facing young people.

Youth Online Bendigo Roving Reporters get to tell it how it is across Central Victoria. They are invited to submit stories, images, texts, music and clips to share through the site. Head to the Gallery page and view the latest from our reporters. If you would like to submit work to yobendigo please email youth@bendigo.vic.gov.au with your name, age and a contact number.
