Bendigo Senior Secondary College is situated in central Bendigo overlooking the historic Rosalind Park. Bendigo Southeast 7 - 10 Secondary College
BSE provides schooling for Years 7 - 10 and is located on the former site of Flora Hill College.
Catholic College Bendigo is a secondary school built on Marist and Mercy traditions, providing education for students from Year 7 to Year 12 in central Victoria. Catholic College Bendigo operates from two locations. La Valla, located in the bush surroundings of Junortoun caters for Years 7 - 9 students. Coolock is where Years 10 - 12 and VCE/VCAL studies are conducted, and is located in the central hub of Bendigo.
Crusoe 7-10 Secondary College is an innovative and dynamic Year 7-10 College with an enrolment which has increased from 595 students in 2003 to 758 in 2006. A particular feature of the enrolment is the changed ratio of Boys to Girls – 303 Boys 292 Girls in 2003 and 355 Boys 403 Girls in 2006.
Eaglehawk Secondary College is a 7 to 10 college which focuses on the needs of students in preparation for the VCE, further study or the workforce. The college has a student population of just over 600 students drawn from Eaglehawk, Bendigo and the adjacent rural areas, with projected growth to 800.
Girton Grammar School is an Independent, Christian, Co-Educational Day School for young people from Preparatory to Year Twelve.
Kalianna School is for students aged 5 to 18 years of age who have a mild to moderate intellectual disability.
NETschool Bendigo works with young people (15-20 years) who are experiencing difficulties with mainstream schooling but who have a desire to get back into with learning. NETschool Bendigo is a small annexe of Bendigo Senior Secondary College.
Weeroona College Bendigo is located on the northern side of Bendigo and caters for over 890 students from White Hills, Epsom, Huntly, North Bendigo and Bendigo East along with students from surrounding rural areas including Heathcote and Goornong.
