Money for Youth
School Focused Youth Service:
Brokerage for projects
Assists to develop linkages between schools and other community youth services that support young people. Provides brokerage funds to projects that address identified service gaps.Provide brokerage money for schools to carry out innovative student focussed programs.
Brokerage for individuals
SFYS also allocates funding for individual support. This funding is only available once, per young person, for up to one term and is not for permanent ongoing support.
Individual brokerage funding should only be used when:
- There is no other funding source
- There is a gap in service provision
- The referring agent has discussed the referral with the SFYS Coordinator
- The funding is a part of a coordinated plan to support the young person
