The fifth installment of this movie franchise has hit the big screens. Based on a video game, you would think by now the movies would start to die off like most others of the sort (cue Tomb Raider)… This zombie-filled, violence-coated mess of blood and guts splashing on the screen through your 3D glasses is definitely cringe-worthy for the softies, leaving those with stronger stomachs to keep watching the action-packed, horror adventure ofAlice– only this time, a child is involved. Perfect CGI for 3D viewing is the best part of the whole movie. Even if you don’t like the Resident Evil movies, go and see it for the special effects.
This franchise is not dead yet. I loved the movie and can’t wait for the next one. Some think its beginning to get a little cheesy and over-the-top, but how else are zombie flicks meant to be!? It’s not like we can base it on anything real… I give it a total of 4 out of 5 YOs
