Amelia Westbrook is 17 years old and is in year 11 at Bendigo Senior Secondary College in Greater Bendigo. She is studying Politics, Legal Studies, VET Community service and English. This is Amelia’s third year on the City of Greater Bendigo Youth Council.  

Amelia is passionate about disability advocacy. She hopes to advocate for and promote the views of all young people. She wants to assist in breaking down barriers so that our community is an inclusive and welcoming place for everyone.  

Amelia is active in our community, regularly volunteering for not-for-profit organisations and Amelia also loves participating in local performing arts productions. 

Amelia aspires to take on a role in government or community organisation when she finishes her studies.
