Youth Councillor Benjamin Reid

Benjamin Reid is 18 years old and a Year 12 student studying at Catherine McAuley College. He is incredibly excited to be a part of the Youth Council for 2023.

Ben has recently completed a Certificate III in Community Services and is currently studying a Certificate III in Allied Health. Ben is passionate about mental health, helping young people, theatre, and movies.

Ben’s inspirations are Zachary Levi and Austin Butler. Ben hopes to make a career out of acting and directing films but he also wants to raise awareness for social issues within the community and enhance the quality of people’s lives.

Ben aspires to make a positive change for people in their lives and wants to help be a part of positive changes within the Greater Bendigo community. He also enjoys working with other people and getting to establish new friendships.
