Ella is a proud 22-year-old Bendigo local, born and raised on Djarra country. This is her second year on Youth Council but has been volunteering with YO Bendigo since 2020 in the YO Media team. She also completed a traineeship with YO Bendigo in 2023 and 2024, where she gained a Certificate III in Business Administration. Since joining Youth Council, she is now on the Bendigo Sustainability Group Committee and Goldfields Local Learning and Education Network Board of Directors. 

Ella works part time in hospitality and runs a social media management business called Lavender Design. Ella aims to help small businesses in Greater Bendigo utilise the marketing potential of social media and empower them to make changes. 

She has a passion for the inclusion and expansion of youth recreational activities, the arts and creative industries, supporting people with a low socioeconomic background, and LGBTIQA+ rights. 

Ella likes to spend her free time reading, crocheting, or hanging out with her housemates.
