Youth Councillor Freya Nicoletti

Freya Nicoletti is an enthusiastic young student at Girton Grammar School in year 10. She enjoys running and being active and regularly competes in swimming and soccer.

2023 will be Freya’s first year in the Youth Council. She is excited for this leadership experience, meeting new people and being a voice for young people of Greater Bendigo. Freya is interested in the areas of animal and human rights, as well as the environment and the impacts of climate change. She is currently a Peer Support Leader at her school and has had previous leadership roles including an Environmental Leader a few years ago.

In the future, Freya would like to work with adolescents and children in a school or athletic setting, as a mentor, teacher, or psychologist. Freya is looking forward to 2023 and the changes she and the Youth Council can make.
