Hi, my name is Grace Wells, I'm 19 years old and my pronouns are she/they. 

Last year I finished my year 12 studies and I'm currently working in the childcare industry, which has taken me right around our region. I have a strong passion for early childhood education, especially working in before and after school care. My hope is to become a full-time educator in the near future, working in schools across the City of Greater Bendigo.  

One of my biggest interests is nature- specifically the many local ecosystems that surround our region and how best to protect them. We have some very crucial bush surrounding our region, and it's incredible to see just what our region has to offer in terms of fauna and flora.  

I recently had the opportunity to join the City of Greater Bendigo Youth Council late last year and I truly look forward to my first year as a Youth Councillor.
