Hamish is 16 years old and currently studying in Year 12 at Girton Grammar School. He has a passion for sport, and currently swims for the Bendigo Hawks Aquatic Club.  
This is his third year as a member of the Youth Council. He hopes to further the links he has already built with members on the Youth Council and more broadly within the City of Greater Bendigo and the Council. He wishes to increase his advocacy for sporting facilities, public infrastructure, and the further representation of the views of the Greater Bendigo youth. 

He has a passion for the humanities, particularly politics and history, whilst also remaining interested in languages and the sciences. He aspires to study economics and politics and university to build a career in diplomacy. He remains passionate about music, as he plays the piano.
