Youth Councillor Hamish Knight

Hamish Knight is 14 and currently studying in year 10 at Girton Grammar School. He has a passion for advocating for better sporting facilities and opportunities for everyone in Greater Bendigo.

This is his first year as a member of the City of Greater Bendigo Youth Council. He looks forward to meeting and working with people from all walks of life and representing the youth of Greater Bendigo.

He has a passion for the humanities, particularly politics and history. Hamish aspires to study law, politics, history, or economics in Melbourne. Also to go on to have a PhD. Hamish plays the piano and the French horn, as well as swims for the Bendigo Hawks Aquatic Swimming Club.
