Youth Councillor Lucas Thredgold

Lucas is a second year of youth councillor who has lived in Greater Bendigo for 17 years of his life. He is currently in his second year of university, studying Urban and Regional Planning at RMIT. He has a strong passion for urban spaces and environmental issues, particularly how they affect the wellbeing of Greater Bendigo's youth. He is committed to supporting the sustainable development of Greater Bendigo as its population continues to expand and wants to advocate for more inclusive and accessible environments for young people. In 2025, he was the Chair of the Youth Council's Environment & Public Infrastructure Working Group.
