Natasha Romas (Tash) is a 22 year-old go-getter with a passion for leadership and a desire to create positive change and opportunities for students and young people in Bendigo
A board director on the Bendigo Student Association since 2015, she was re-elected and voted president in 2018 and again in 2019. Waving the flag for La Trobe University, Tash works as a Student Ambassador and has visited many of the local schools to excite and inspire the uni students of tomorrow. In 2018, Tash was the youngest participant of LEAD Loddon Murray’s Community Leadership Program which allowed her to explore the region and learn from community leaders about the great things happening.
When she is not undertaking her extracurricular activities, Tash works at the local Squash club and can be found in the library studying for her final year of her law and business degree.
Her desire to join the Youth Council came from a strong belief that the youth voice is imperative to the development , sustainability and growth of the City of Greater Bendigo. She wants to contribute to this voice with the hope that her knowledge, skills, experience and enthusiasm could contribute to the success of the Youth Council.
