Calling young visual artists: join a street art exhibition and build your art career skills!
YO Bendigo is partnering with Nacho Station for the 2020/21 YO Arts: Underground program, and we are looking for 15 young visual artists to take part!
YO Arts: Underground is a two-week skill development program running from 7 – 18th December 2020, followed by an installation and public exhibition event in January 2021. The program is a great opportunity to learn new skills, meet other artists and join a public exhibition.
Through the program, you will learn how to turn your art into a career pathway with workshops on:
- Develop skills with aerosols and other street art techniques;
- Marketing and promoting your work;
- Collaborating & exhibition planning;
- Finding industry opportunities and applying for creative sector grants.
YO Arts: Underground Program is open to young people aged 14-24 who live, study, or work in Greater Bendigo and is free for participants. No previous street art experience is required.
