The YO Events crew has been busy behind the scenes over the past few months—planning, prepping, promoting (and yes, powering through kilos of hummus)—all to bring YO Easter Fest to life!

From curating the perfect artist lineup to managing equipment, coordinating promotion, and creating the ideal stage atmosphere, every detail was carefully crafted to ensure this event would be one to remember. It’s been all hands on deck, and every member of the YO Events team has put their heart into making this festival something truly special.

And on Saturday, it all paid off! 🙌 The YO Easter Fest stage at the Bendigo Easter Festival was alive with energy, music, and community spirit. From 12 PM to 2 PM, Hargreaves Street Mall was transformed into a buzzing epicenter of local talent, with music and good vibes filling the air. The sun was shining, the crowd was dancing, and every performance was next level.

MC’d by YO Events’ very own Moon, the YO Easter Fest featured an amazing lineup of live performances from some of the region’s brightest up-and-coming local, young acts, including:

🎸 Around The Fall – A rising 3-piece indie-rock band bringing re-imagined covers from James Marriott, Jule, and Radiohead.

💥 Pariah Kid – An alt-rock 4-piece delivering original tunes channeling indie, alternative, and post-punk vibes.

🎤 Beelezebub – A whimsical solo vocalist who had us all in our feels with dreamy covers from Steven Universe and Adventure Time.

🔥 Two Steps Forward – A powerhouse 6-piece band bringing nostalgia to the stage with all their 2000s alt-rock covers.

Each act was amazing! If you're looking for something to do or something to listen to, we recommend checking out their social media and going to their gigs!

The YO Events team couldn’t have asked for a better way to kick off our 2025 season than with the incredible YO Easter Fest. We loved bringing this event to life, and are still buzzing from the energy that filled Hargreaves Street Mall on Easter Saturday. From the first strum of a guitar to the final cheers of the crowd, it was a great afternoon—and it wouldn’t have been possible without an amazing group of people behind it.

A huge thank you goes out to our dedicated behind-the-scenes crew who worked tirelessly to pull everything together, the incredible performers who brought their A-game to the stage, our amazing volunteers who gave their time and energy to help make it all happen, and every single person who came along to enjoy the music, soak in the vibes, and support young, local talent.
