Youth Council: What we're watching

Been wondering what the Youth Council have been up to?

Other than continuing to meet regularly to advocate for and represent young people in Bendigo and keeping busy cooking, working and studying, they've been watching some great television and films! Here are their top recommendations.

Annika Ritchie- “Tiger King! I knocked it out in one afternoon- it was brilliant! But then I followed it up with Louis Theroux: America’s most dangerous pets for good measure.”

Lilli-Rose Gemmill- "The last thing I watched was When Calls the Heart. Highly recommend."

Kathryn Northill- "Over the past few weeks I've watched the movies Silence of the lambs, Pride, A Cinderella Story and have been watching the shows Queer Eye and The Sinner. Also, anything from Harlan Coban!

Youth Council Secretary Jemille McKenzie "Recently I've been watching Parks and Recreation, Avatar/Legend of Kora Series, AJ and the Queen, Harlots, Hunt for the Wilderpeople, Your Name, Drive, Priscilla Queen of the Desert, Train to Busan. Also Old people's home for 4 year olds and Dating on the Spectrum. Those last two are extra wholesome!"

Jack Smith “The show Locke and Key on Netflix is lit! Also, Community has just been put on Netflix and it’s my favourite show ever.

Youth Deputy Mayor Billie Taylor "I've been watching Sex Education, Black Mirror explained and The Office. Also definitely recommend watching Yesterday, Blades of Glory and Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Vile and Evil"
