Rafferty Brasier is 17 years old, in year 12 and living in Greater Bendigo. This is his second year on the Youth Council. 

Rafferty is passionate about shaping a positive future for young people in Bendigo, particularly in areas he cares deeply about such as improved access to active transport, believing it should be easy and safe for people to walk or cycle wherever they need to go. This interest connects closely with his commitment to sustainability and his support for stronger environmental action within the community. 

Outside of Youth Council, Rafferty is involved in sport and plays football, cricket, and basketball. He is interested in pursuing a career in the health field, where he hopes to support the wellbeing of others and make a meaningful difference in his community.
