Youth Councillor Rose Joy

(Pronouns: She/Her)

Rose is currently entering her second year of Dental Science at La Trobe University in Bendigo. She is enthusiastic about art and is a member of the Art and Creative Industries Advisory Committee. Last year, she ran an art exhibition for young people; A Spatter of Colour, which is set to happen again this year with even more young people involved. Through the Youth Council, she seeks to strengthen the voice of young people in Council matters in areas such as mental and physical health, our environment, and support in times of hardship. In the future, Rose wants to continue supporting her community and the people of Greater Bendigo through working as a dentist and advocating for more accessible healthcare.
