Community Safety

Local Late Night Venue licensees have become signatories of a revised Bendigo Liquor Accord which was officially launched by Liquor Licensing Victoria, the Victoria Police and Bendigo Safe Community Forum on Wednesday March 12th 2008.
The Bendigo Safe Community Forum is a collaborative partnership between local agencies that play a pivotal role in the safety of our community. The Bendigo Safe Community Forum is comprised of representatives from a range of organisations and groups.
The Neighbourhood Party Guide is intended to assist community members to develop their own neighbourhood parties. This Guide provides practical advice and suggestions on things that need to be considered when hosting a Neighbourhood Party.
Neighbourhood Watch is a community based crime prevention program which aims to improve the quality of life within a neighbourhood by minimising preventable crime and promoting closer community ties.
In Victoria, there are 24 RoadSafe Community Road Safety Councils made up of volunteers who tackle local road safety issues.
