Sharlee Dunolly-Lee is a proud Dja Dja Wurrung woman born and raised in Eaglehawk on Dja Dja Wurrung/Taungurung Country.

At 18 she began her own loose-leaf tea, Dja-Wonmuruk (‘Yes Tea’ in Dja Dja Wurrung language), while completing her VCE at Bendigo Senior Secondary College.

In 2019, she was one of 100 artists to join the 150th Anniversary art trail project for Melbourne’s Royal Children’s Hospital. Sponsored by Equity Trustees, Sharlee created Binbiyal Malamiya (‘Rainbow Dreaming’) which adjourned Bourke St Mall and was privately purchased to raise money for the hospital.

In 2021, Sharlee completed her Certificate IV in Conservation and Land Management at Bendigo Kangan TAFE while completing her traineeship as a Field Officer at DJANDAK (previously Dja Dja Wurrung Aboriginal Enterprises).

Recently, Sharlee graduated from Cert IV in Aboriginal Cultural Heritage Management at La Trobe University and completed her traineeship as a Project Officer.
