When I first applied for the traineeship at YO Bendigo in early 2024, I was simply looking for a starting point—a way to step into the professional world and begin building a career. I had no prior experience in business administration, and I wasn’t sure what to expect. What I found was an opportunity that has completely transformed my confidence, skills, and future goals.

From September 22nd to 26th, YO Bendigo will be moving to our new location on Level 2, 41–43 Mundy Street (above Old Green Bean Café). Understandably, during this time our office will be closed, but we will be back open and ready to welcome you on Monday, September 29!

Last Thursday (26/7), some of the YO Bendigo team ventured out to Kooyoora Park for a cultural tour with some First Nations students from Eaglehawk Secondary College.

The City of Greater Bendigo is proud of the fact that it runs a successful and coordinated traineeship and apprenticeship program.

Members of the queer community and allies gathered at Rosalind Park on Saturday 16th March for Disco Queer, a celebration of LGBTQIA+ pride. People of all ages enjoyed activities, food, mocktails, and drag performances throughout the evening.  Written by our very own YO Media Journalist Chloe Drury
