Denim painting workshop

As part of our new sustainability series, this denim painting workshop offers a fantastic opportunity for creative young people aged 12 to 25 to learn the art of upcycling!

During this workshop, you'll transform old denim jeans or jackets into wearable masterpieces tailored to your individual style, featuring custom designs.

You will learn :
Various painting techniques and gain a better understanding of how old items can be upcycled repeatedly, contributing to a more sustainable fashion future and reducing the impact of fast fashion.

Best of all, you'll leave with a one-of-a-kind wearable artwork that reflects your unique style and imagination.

What to bring:
All you need to bring is your creativity and perhaps a few design concepts! Feel free to bring along any old denim you'd like to breathe new life into, though recycled denim garments will also be provided for you to paint on.

YO Bendigo workshops and training sessions are supported by the City of Greater Bendigo's Community Connections Team with funds provided by the Victorian Government's Engage! Program.
