Food Handlers Certificate (SITXFSA005)

Unlock Your Potential in the Culinary World with a Use Hygienic practices for food safety certificate 

Are you 12 - 25 and  passionate about food and ready to embark on a journey in the culinary industry? 

Obtain your Food Handlers Certificate and open doors to endless opportunities!. Whether you aspire to become a chef, caterer, food service manager, or simply want to enhance your skills in the kitchen, a Food Handlers Certificate is your ticket to success. 

In this course you will learn:

  1. Food Safety Knowledge

  2. Personal Hygiene Practices

  3. Cross-Contamination Prevention

  4. Temperature Control

  5. Cleaning and Sanitizing Procedures

To register:
To register students are required to complete enrolment forms shown below. It is essential that these forms are completed before attending the in person training at 45 Mundy Street.  

  1. AST enrolment form
  2. Accredited Shore Course LLN Self-Assessment
  3. Permission for AST to Apply for Student USI (Students require their USI number to register for this training, you can find or register for your USI by visiting https://www.usi.gov.au/)
