Mini Skateboard Design workshop
Get ready to socialise, express yourself, and create something truly unique!
In this hands‑on workshop, you’ll design and paint your very own mini skateboard deck from start to finish. Whether you’re into bold colours, detailed illustrations, skate culture, or just love experimenting, this session gives you the freedom to explore your creativity in a relaxed, supportive environment.
You’ll spend the afternoon hanging out with other young people, sharing ideas, chatting, laughing, and helping each other bring your designs to life. No experience is needed—just come along, give it a go, and enjoy the process of creating something that’s completely your own.
This workshop supports the aims of YOConnect by giving young people the chance to:
- Meet new people and build social confidence in a friendly, welcoming space
- Work alongside others creatively, learning from each other and sharing inspiration
- Try a new hands‑on activity that encourages self‑expression and imagination
- Strengthen connections with peers through shared creative experiences
- Grow confidence by completing and taking home a personalised mini deck you designed yourself

All materials are provided—you just need to bring:
- Old clothes (it might get messy!)
- A hair tie, if you need one
- Your ideas and inspiration
