Provide First Aid Training (HLTAID011) - Cancelled

By Jesse Munzel, 06 March, 2023

Unfortunately, this First Aid Training for 26 February and 5th March has been cancelled.

We look to scheduling another First Aid Training in May. To be kept in the loop and informed as soon as tickets are available for the next First Aid training offered, just complete the following waiting form "here"

Want practical skills that look great on your resume, help you get job‑ready, and give you the confidence to respond in an emergency?

This nationally accredited First Aid course teaches you exactly what to do when something goes wrong, from treating injuries to performing CPR.

What you need to know:

  • This is an accredited course, which means it meets national training standards and your certificate is officially recognised across Australia. To receive your First Aid certification, you must attend both in‑person sessions, and fully complete the online learning module to receive an official First Aid certificate that you can add to your resume.
  • This training is delivered over 2 x 3 hour sessions. You must attend both sessions to finish your training.
  • This training is for young people aged 15-25 years only, provding them with affordable training to help future employability.

    What you will learn:
  • How to recognise and respond appropriately in an emergency situation
  • First-aid techniques for common emergencies including allergies/anaphylaxis, fractures/breaks, bleeding and choking/airway obstruction
  • How to perform CPR

IMPORTANT: Participants must  complete the following documents linked below and send them to [email protected] BEFORE attending the first session or you will not be able to attend or recieve certification.

  • AST Enrolment form
  • Self-Asessment form
  • Permission for AST to apply for Student USI (only if you do not already have one- otherwise you can find or register for your USI by visiting  https://www.usi.gov.au/)

Tickets
Currently, we are just waiting for our ticketing link, so if you complete the form linked "here" or in the right sidebar, which simply asks for your email address, we can add you to our waiting list so that you are the first to know once tickets are available to purchase.
