Squeegee Art Crafternoon

By Katie Mansfield, 07 July, 2026

Squeegee Art is a relaxed, hands‑on paint workshop designed for young people interested in exploring creativity. The session offers a fun, welcoming space to experiment with paint, try new ideas, and enjoy a chilled crafternoon with snacks and supportive guidance. No previous experience is required, and all materials are provided.

This workshop is a great opportunity to connect with others, unwind, and create something unique to take home—whether it’s cute, quirky, or completely unexpected.

Come along, get crafty, and leave with something handmade, personal, and proudly weird (or cute… or both).

What to Expect

Participants will begin with a guided activity: creating their own squeegee art with the assistance of our facilitator. This introductory project is designed to teach simple technique suitable for beginners.

After completing the guided piece, participants can move into their own creative concepts, creating a piece of squeegee art on their own.

Facilitators will provide hands-on support, technical advice, and inspiration materials throughout the session. So, if you have an idea but don't know where to start or how to create it, our facilitator will be there to walk you through each step.

What's the vibe

The workshop is designed to offer:

  • A calm and welcoming atmosphere with low music playing, with a small room available if, at any point, participants need to step out
  • A social environment where young people can connect with peers
  • A relaxed “crafternoon” feel, with music, conversation, and plenty of time to experiment

What’s Provided

All equipment and materials will be supplied, including:

  • Paint
  • Tools
  • Inspiration resources
  • Snacks and water to keep the creative energy up

Participants only need to bring their creativity.
