YO Bendigo TTRPG Program

The YO Bendigo Tabletop Role‑Playing Game (TTRPG) program, facilitated by Games Master Tom Moore, invites young people to come together, build characters, create stories, and go on imaginative adventures. Whether you’ve played TTRPGs before or are trying them for the very first time, this program offers a fun, relaxed, and welcoming space to meet new people, build confidence, and share plenty of laughs.

In these sessions, you’ll get the chance to hang out, explore different game worlds, run adventures, and collaborate with others to shape your own unique stories. Each group works together around the table to bring their characters and ideas to life.

What is a TTRPG?

A Tabletop Role‑Playing Game (TTRPG) is a collaborative storytelling game where you and your group create characters and make decisions that shape an unfolding adventure. Instead of playing on a screen, you gather around a table, use your imagination, roll dice, and work as a team to overcome challenges.

Popular examples include Dungeons & Dragons, Avatar Legends, and the Fallout RPG — but there are hundreds of different games and worlds to explore. No experience is needed; the Games Master will guide you through everything.

Some of the games available as part of YO Bendigo's TTRPG Groups include Tales of the Valiant, Avatar Legends, Dishonored, Fallout, Legends in the Mist, Discworld: Adventures in Ankh‑Morpork, Marvel Multiverse, City of Mist, MASKS: A New Generation, Monster of the Week, Cyberpunk Red, and many others. The group will decide together which world they want to explore.

Weekly Group Details

Group 1 runs every Wednesday for young people aged 12–18 at YO Bendigo on Mundy Street. Sessions go from 4:00 to 5:30 pm and are delivered as part of the YO Connect program within the Level Up project, supported by the Australian Government’s Department of Social Services.

Group 2 meets on Mondays for young adults aged 18–25, also at YO Bendigo, from 4:00 to 5:30 pm. This group is open to anyone in the age range who wants to join a fun, creative gaming experience.

To join the group - Submit an Expression of Interest

You can now submit an expression of interest (EOI) — this is a short form that lets us know you would like to join the group.

Please submit your EOI through the form linked "here".

After you complete the EOI form, a YO Bendigo staff member will review your details and get in contact with you. If you don’t hear from a YO Bendigo or City of Greater Bendigo Connect Communities staff member after a little while, please email us at: [email protected]
