Terrarium Making workshop

Are you a young person (12 - 25 years old) who loves plants, nature or simply want to learn more about the environment? Then join us for an afternoon of creativity, learning, and sustainability as we craft self-sustainable terrariums.

In this hands-on experience, you will be guided on how to construct an open terrarium featuring a variety of plants and thoughtfully layered elements, building your very own miniature world!

You will learn:

  • The importance of community biodiversity and role of natural ecosystems.
  • Plant care tips and tricks to help your indoor plants thrive.
  • The art of building your very own terrarium (that requires minimal care or watering).

What you will get:
Your own beautiful terrarium to take home to display or give to a green thumb friend as a great gift idea!

What you will need:
All materials are included, so you will not need to bring a thing except for a excited attitude to get creative with nature for an afternoon!

No prior experience necessary, with this workshop being great for beginners and pros alike.

YO Bendigo workshops and training sessions are supported by the City of Greater Bendigo's Community Connections Team with funds provided by the Victorian Government's Engage! Program.
