You’re Invited to the YO Bendigo End of Year Volunteer Celebration!
The YO Bendigo End of Year Volunteer celebration is an event to honour and celebrate the great work of YO Bendigo volunteers throughout the massive year that has been 2026. It is a chance to unwind, chill out, and meet the incredible young people behind what we do, in essence, giving a big thank you to the people who put the YO in YO Bendigo.
The event will be held at Bendigo Civic Gardens (directly in front of the GOV HUB), featuring outdoor games, fun, chilled-out activities, and a recognition ceremony to reflect on the great work each young volunteer has achieved across the year.
Food & Refreshments
Dinner will be classic fish and chips, along with light snacks and drinks.
Registrations are essential!
To help us cater appropriately to dietary requirements and the number of attendees, please register by completing the quick form here, and to the right of the screen.
Note: Please RSVP by completing the registration by 5:00 pm on the 25th of November.
Why Attend?
This is a chance to connect with other volunteers, celebrate the year, and learn more about YO Bendigo’s programs—YO Events, YO Media, Youth Council, and our activity groups such as the Table-Top Role-Playing Group.
Feel free to bring a friend or any young person interested in getting involved. We’d love to welcome new faces and share what YO Bendigo is all about and what it offers for young people (12-25 years) of Greater Bendigo.
Venue Accessibility & Wet Weather Plan
As the event will be outdoors, we will ensure shaded areas are utilised for seating and event activities, and sunscreen is available. Around noise management or sensory concerns, earplugs will also be made available, and a chill-out zone will be designated.
In the event of wet weather, the event will be moved to YO
Bendigo's Office on level 2, 41-43 Mundy St, Bendigo.
Parking
Parking will be available along Lyttleton Terrace, directly in front of the Gov Hub Building- Galkangu (189-229 Lyttleton Terrace, Bendigo VIC 3550) and along Mundy Street.
