Zero Waste Cooking workshop

By Jesse Munzel, 17 January, 2024

Are you a young foodie, snack lover, or aspiring chef aged 12-25 looking to elevate your culinary expertise?

Whether you're passionate about snacks, aspiring to be the next Jamie Oliver, or simply enjoy good food, this workshop is tailored just for you! Join us as we guide you through crafting delicious dishes to delectable desserts, demonstrating how to transform basic ingredients into delicious culinary creations, all while minimizing waste!

You will learn:

  • Essential cooking skills and techniques to make a selection of 30 minutes meals and quick snacks including ricoota gnocchi, chia jam, French toast and quick tomato sugo.
  • You will learn how to creatively utilise ingrediants that are often thrown out, like vegetable peels, stems, wilted spinach or sad apples, to create tasty dishes.
  • Sustainability tips and tricks to reducing waste and helping the planet.

No previous experience required, just bring yourself and a re-useable container to store your creations in.

Each participant will receive their very own zero waste cookbook full of recipes as part of this workshop.
